The Philipse Manor Hall is a Georgian-style Mansion which was the first City Hall of Yonkers from 1871to 1908. It is one of the oldest surviving structures of the area that is now used for ceremonies, musical performances, exhibition and celebrations. It is a museum that showcases the art, architecture and history of the region. Highlights include presidential portraits, an eighteenth century Georgian architecture, and a 1750s papier mache Rococo ceiling.

The Hudson River Museum features six art galleries, an outdoor amphitheater, a period house, a planetarium, and a Glenview Mansion. Go back in time by touring the Glenview Mansion that has six rooms with decor and furniture from the 1877. Take in the laser show or star show at the Andrus Planetarium onsite. Check out the changing exhibits at the galleries of the museum. The outdoor amphitheater hosts live shows, comedy nights and movie nights every summer. Show up on Friday in summers and catch live bands performance at the amphitheater. The museum is a mix of science, history and art!

Sherwood House Museum is oldest Colonial homestead that is maintained by the Yonkers Historical Society. It was built in 1740 and has six Victorian rooms overlooking the Hudson River. It houses the period antiques, artifacts and furnishings. Tours are available and the docents are dressed in period garbs.
